September 3, 2011 - TN: Labor Day weekend at my place. (My place.): I was a bit wiped out after literally slaving in the kitchen for several hours beforehand and this was a much welcomed revitalizer. Like a jump in a glacial stream, this just picked me up with it's razor sharp acidity and brilliant quince, chalky mineral and floral profile. Just a touch off dry, it's closed up a little since my last bottle, showing more structure and a little less fruit. A-/B+.

May 16, 2010 - I am not well-versed in Chenin Blanc, but really, really enjoyed this bottle. Intense kiwi, pear, honeydew, lime and honey on the palate. It is definitely sweet, but balanced with acid keeping the flavors fresh and lively. The finish went on and on. We had a little cheese and bread, but the wine was the star of the show today.

May 14, 2010 - This has too much obvious botrytis for my taste. It reminds me of an Alsatian pinot gris on the nose. I far prefer the '04 of this wine.

April 24, 2010 - Fun bouquet of apple cider and lychee. A hint of VA; lifted nose, not a flaw. Intensely concentrated on the palate with some RS and high acid. Think a ripe pineapple that makes you pucker. A slight savory flavor as well. I wonder what these do with some age?

April 5, 2010 - Like the last bottle I had. Just a lovely glass of Chenin. Seamless and lively with typical yellow and white fruit and flowers on the nose and palate with chalky mineral, a hint of sweetness and plenty of vivid acidity. I'm going through this case way too fast. A-/B+.
