December 22, 2015 - Aromatic, spicy, fruit still fleshy, not a lot of minerals--but enough to get a grip on the palate. Just moved into our first house and popped this to celebrate...went well with roast chicken.

November 18, 2014 - This is the best balanced of the 2008 Brewer Clifton pinots I have tasted. Big nose, ovely expressive black and blue fruits with spice and forest floor notes. Fleshy and well balanced.

March 15, 2014 - Popped and poured at home with guests over pizza and Mediterranean food. Decanted 40 minutes. Very nice nose with berry, cherry and flower (violet) notes and a bit of earth. On the palate not quite as good, but by no means bad. Good fruit with some cherry, some truffle/earth, maybe camphor, definitely some astringency. Light/medium bodied. Long finish which helped score. This might be a bit closed still. Could definitely see it improving.

April 7, 2012 - Great aromatics with sweet dark cherry, blackberry and earthiness. Silky and medium-bodied on the palate with nice delivery throughout. Great balance and fruit purity with spice elements, ripe plum and berries. Some evident tannin at the finish but seems to even out just fine.Gives signals of whole cluster use. This definitely possessed some staying power for the long run.

February 9, 2012 - A little disappointed. Maybe needs some age. nice bouquet or rasberries, cherries and cranberry, but a little thin in the mouth
