December 1, 2013 - Smoky flavors, pepper on the front of the pallette with long, acidic cinnamon finish . Dense. bramble fruit nose; some bottle age shows brown halo in glass. In Dec 13 ready to be consumed, but interesting example of pinot with 6 year's of bottle age. Maybe 1 year left?

January 2, 2012 - Dark garnet in the glass, beautiful, lusty. Bigtime fruit in the nose; this isn't Oregon Pinot for sure. Cherry cola in the mouth, slightly earthy elements, nice acidity. Wonderful with a rib eye. This is a rocking wine, one of the best No Cal pinots I've had.
