March 13, 2018 - German Pinot Masterclass with MW Anne Krebiehl (Hotel og Restaurations Skolen, Valby, Copenhagen): bummer. Oxidised and has no tension left-

February 18, 2018 - Very light colour, pale strawberry red; the open and attractive nose displays spiced strawberries, smoke and roses, mineral freshness and depth; fresh and sweet palate, light as a feather but with intense flavours, creamy texture, silk and slate, crushed raspberry, vanilla, mild tannins, wet undergrowth; pure and resonant finish, very good length. Really singing today.

October 25, 2015 - Last tasted in January 2013, when it was still a bit hard. It has developed very well. "Je m'en fou du couleur" , Henri Jayer used to say and this wine too exemplifies that for Pinot Noir colour (extraction) and flavour do not have to go hand in hand. Very pale strawberry red; fresh and aromatic nose, strawberry and slate, hint of rose, sous-bois and Pinot-fishiness; seamless and silky palate, lovely hint of sweetness in the juicy fruit, pure and transparent, very elegant and balanced, fresh and mineral core, perfect oak integration, precise flavours, light tannins; persistent finish, very good length. Delightful. Drinking very well now, but I will keep my last bottle until 2018 as I believe there may be more to come.

July 13, 2015 - This wine has aged quite nicely and melted into a harmonious glass of Pinot. Oak has completely integrated now, Delicate notes of bright cherry, fresh cut herbs, animal fur, underbrush, potpourri, dried orange peel. To be honest, I actually liked this Pinot... Shhh.

January 13, 2013 - Very light colour, delicate and filigree style, relatively dry, strawberry, floral topnotes - a hint of roses suggests it was fermented with (some of) the stalks? Fresh, well-balanced, very good aromatic persistence. Needs two years.
