Community Tasting Notes 4

November 7, 2019 - Golden yellow. A whiff of petrol. Honeysuckle, apricot, tangerine flavors. Fruity, with just a touch of sweetness. An interesting floral note on the finish. Maturing, but has potential to improve over the short term.

This is closed down - not giving up much, even with warmth and air.
Beautiful intense straw color but a sleeper for now.

Mr Theise says drink years 12-18. Of course he's right.
Going to leave the rest for 2020+

April 4, 2012 - A fairly restrained nose of stone, lemon and a whiff of petrol. One the palate, one of the better balanced dry German rieslings I've had recently. Fairly rich peach and apricot fruit flavors- this has an big Austrian Smaragd like body. The ripe sweetness is nicely balanced by a palate cleansing acidity that keeps this refreshing. A terrific wine for the money.
