August 18, 2012 - Started off nicely as it was pretty cold. But then it warmed up and it all went downhill from there. Metallic aftertaste, not pleasant. Did not care for it.

November 2, 2011 - Had with the 2006 vintage of this and a 2006 Arnoux bourgogne - both superior. This was first in the line-up and even then was a little too light of body. Might have been better when younger and fresher, this was a bit diminished in concentration and flavours, though the aromas were still very nice, cherry and hibiscus. Very decent QPR all the same.

January 22, 2011 - One of the highest rqp's we've ever had at $11.00. While it may be light and straightforward (cherry all the way--nose, mid-palate, finish), what a delightful experience and beautiful example of the wine maker's craft. The venerable Bichot house got this basic Burgundy completely right.
