December 30, 2022 - Dark red, clear with sedi, ent. Nose of black berry jelly, vanilla and cedar. Medium body with sucrosity, BlackBerry jelly, menthol and vanilla. Tannin is totally integrated. I guess its flavour profile is simple but I like it a lot and am surprised that 3/5 of the diners ask me to open another bottle, claiming this is too jammy! What evs.

May 16, 2022 - Really delicious Shiraz, full of red fruit, nice acidity, medium bodied and nicely resolved tannins. Drank from a double magnum and boy was it excellent QPR. Probably at peak already and won't get better, but very enjoyable.

September 5, 2020 - BBQ @ Arcadia!: Drank from magnum - wild card bottle for the group today. This drank nicely, with slight notes of raisins. Frankly, I wouldn't have called this an Aussie shiraz, although it is apparent to be a New World. I must this is not bad at all, and most of the group agreed. Open up 89/90

April 10, 2020 - Almost black. Fragrant of blackberries, blackberry jam, menthol, spiced red currant jelly and vanilla. In the mouth there is blackberries, menthol, vanilla, a puff of wood smoke. This has substantial weight, integrated tannin and acid. A lingering red currant finish.

December 30, 2013 - Upon opening it is extremely powerful with intense oak. After 2 days.... Oak is subdued and integrated and the fruit shows mint.. So for the next couple years I should just LEAVE THIS ALONE!
