  January 28, 2011 - Nose: Lean and mineraly with very faint apple aromas. Palate: Well balanced with perfect proportion of acid and fruit. Flavors of apple and an almost shell-like minerality that reminds me of a Chablis. Fairly quick finish but very clean. Doubt this sees much oak at all. Another solid recommendation from K&L...these guys know the old world for sure.

  December 7, 2009 - Very Golden for a 2007. Nose of honey, citrus blossoms, some smoke, and white flowers. Full bodied but nice fruit and mineral on taste. Slightly watery in the transition to the finish but finishes strong. Smooth finish and not hot like other Macons in the price range. Very nice, aromatic, but in the end a bit too simple. I wonder if this is because of its youth and it may have something in hidden reserve.
