Score 8.5/20 in blind tasting. Ranked #6 of 7.
Medium rusty ruby color. Faint earthy aromas. Medium light plus to medium body. Earthy tones with red berries and herbal tones. Some licorice detected. Short plus to medium finish. -

March 10, 2013 - Opened 2 hours in advance. Clean, earthy aroma with a tart, piquant note. Rubber aromas present when first opened disappeared with time. Restrained flavors of red berries with a lemon kick. Lovely, full finish. Lacking depth, but otherwise quite fine.
A bit tight now, especially at first, so this may improve with time. In the mid $20's, this is a good Burgundy at an exceptional price. -

July 14, 2011 - Begins with earthy aromas, this tastes of cherry, tobacco and graphite. Drying, herbal finish.
