  August 29, 2012 - Dark purple. Nose of spice, black raspberry and brown spice. Black raspberry, dusty bramble, cinnamon, tar and pepper on the palate. Full bodied medium finish.

  January 11, 2011 - The wine looks Crimson colored.
  The legs are Medium.
  It smells like Blackberry, Fig, Clove, and Cinnamon.
  It tastes like Blackberry, Mineral, Black Pepper, and Espresso.
  The body is Medium/Full.
  The wine is textured Leathery.
  The wine finishes Long.

  August 12, 2010 - Very surprised with this wine. We bought on a lark as this was the last winery on our Amador Behind the Cellar Door tour. They had a beautiful tasting room and we wanted a nice place to end the weekend.
  Drank at my Mom's Birthday. Everyone was thrilled with the wine! Too bad it isn't available in Canada.
  We decanted the wine but drank immediately afterwards. Wish we had more - excellent value.
  Full of aromas and heavenly taste. I wish I had written my notes better at the party but didn't want to look pretentious.

  October 30, 2009 - Aromas of violets and black fruit (mostly blackberries). Taste was big and bold. Smooth.
