March 28, 2020 - Over the hill, no freshness left, but still tolerable. It has a clean, pure sweaty/meatiness with no fruit.

January 24, 2018 - Single cork some trace of past seepage.
Tasted after 30minutes of air it sprang to life and offered a mature palate of secondary and tertiary flavours. Very smooth, almost Vosne like. When the wine is tasting good you should drink it: instead it was put back in the fridge and tasted again after 24h. It had considerably faded.

June 11, 2017 - Maybe I waited too long...maybe it's just a style I'm not enamored of...it's still a beautiful wine. Elegance with spice and orange blossom on the nose. Palate has clove, plum, dry earth, and a meatiness that would go with rich, red meat meals. Actually, a cassoulet would have been perfect...or savory black beans with greasy roast pork/turkey/goose. Nicely bright with a lifting finish that just has to go with food. If this wine is your cup of tea, and you combine it well with food, you'll love it.

June 27, 2014 - Tasty, but tasting blind made me think more of a complex WA Merlot than a N. Rhone Syrah!

October 3, 2011 - Nice fruit forward Syrah that seemed more New World than Old World. Big floral/fruity nose, followed-up by slightly sweet bold red fruit on palate. Very enjoyable and easy-drinking, just not quite what I expected from the N. Rhone.
