Community Tasting Notes 5

June 6, 2011 - Deep ruby/garnet. Beautiful nose of dark cherries, raisins, tobacco and forest floor.
Lovely and velvety in the mouth. Medium+ body, medium acidity, soft ripe tannins.
    Great wine, excellent value.

February 6, 2011 - Quite nice. Went well with the pasta. Nice fruit aroma.

February 6, 2011 - Similar to other Remo Farina Ripasso's with cherry body. Nice character, naturally more substance than the younger one's. Decently smooth. I would drink it again and recommend with company

June 13, 2010 - No formal notes. Not a bad Ripasso, but not my favourite.

April 18, 2010 - Deep garnet/crimson; dried cherries, blackberries, earth; juicy cherry, medium body, good acidity, good balance, ripe tannins, nice finish.
Nose shy at first but opened after 1/2 hr. Tasty and silky with good body and balance. Enjoyed with lasagna.
