Community Tasting Notes 4

March 24, 2012 - I find wines from Abruzzo to be great value if you are looking for large fruit forward wines that have been kissed by the sun. Dense fruit rich in raspberries, plumbs, sage and oregano. Fruit is muddled on the palate with sweet cherries dominating. Tanins are a bit disjointed but overall quite nice. 5+12+16+7=90

April 9, 2010 - Winebow: Big, rich color. Full bodied. Licorice notes. Just a touch of grip. Modern and fairly dense. Good.

October 4, 2009 - Dark ruby red. Nice nose. Very good QPR and works well with a spicy pasta sauce.
