June 21, 2020 - Plum on the nose. Medium mouthfeel, damson, integrated tannin a little bitterness. I don't think this is going to get any better. Not very complex.

January 26, 2019 - This wine continues to improve. The nose is just okay, but the wine tastes amazing and is full bodied with great balance and finish. No need to decant.

November 15, 2017 - Deep, opaque, indigo color in the glass. Bold and full of dark, blue and black fruit. A fine example of Howell Mountain fruit.

November 7, 2017 - Decanted for 3 1/2 hours. Bing cherries, pencil lead, touch of leather. Well integrated tannins, beautiful mouth feel. Still tastes young to me and has all the right elements to age for another decade. Another under appreciated and great value California Cabernet producer. Grab all the ‘14’s you can.
