January 24, 2024 - Nice colheita, iconic house. Good QPR

January 16, 2024 - A very complete wine. Quite herbal and medicinal, intense balsam and sweet citrus fruit peel and oil. High quality and well defined dried fruit notes, but also a slightly mulchy, earth note underpinning things. Good weight and intensity on the palate which brings candied nuts and orange peel - reminisce of panforte. Some nutmeg and other baking spices coming through too. Decent length though not remarkable. This felt a little disjointed on the first evening but improved after a day open in the fridge. Super satisfying on the whole, balances vibrancy with depth and complexity, and lushness with some chew and bitterness.

April 29, 2023 - Port wine tasting late Apr 2023: deep dark ruby color; complex bouquet of dried fruits and walnut plus hints of black olive; smooth texture on the palate accompanied by a slight sweetness; long finish. 91-92/100

Best port wine of the tasting.

December 24, 2022 - Rich and complex, perfectly balanced. Walnuts, toasted pecan, dried apricot, sultana, nutmeg, caramel. It’s complex, concentrated, with a long and evolving finish. Excellent value. A very fine wine.
