  November 4, 2012 - Still holding up well. More lush And fruity like cab more than Zin. Has less acid than many Zins, so be careful with food pairing

  April 29, 2012 - Decanted for 2 hours, nose of plum, dried cherry and balsamic figs, similar palate nice mouth feel with not burn or heat that I remember from the last time though came across a bit sweet on the finish which I personally didn’t relish,

  March 24, 2012 - It has been a while since I had my last zin so i was curious to see how this had progressed. When i opened this first all I could smell taste was the 14.8% Alcohol after two hours though the fruit started to really show – dried plums, raisins, prunes on the nose similar on the palate medium finish with low acidity nice wine

  February 5, 2012 - With some time/air, this vintage from Laura Zahtila is very good. I will emphasize that it needs air and then it sings. Everything is in balance including the alcohol, tannins, blackberry and hint of chocolate.

  July 3, 2011 - Well balanced zin with full body and hearty tannins. Alcohol in balance with the fruit. Notes of chocolate, spices, and blackberry.
