May 8, 2018 - Deep purple in color, fading toward the edges of the glass. Enjoyed with dinner and afterwards, about 2 hours from open to finish. The wine improved over the first 30 minutes and remained at that level. After 30 minutes, cherry and blackberry flavors emerged to balance out notes of cedar, tobacco and spice. Exceptionally smooth over a finish of moderate length. Not as big, rich.or complex as a Cliff Lede of the same vintage that we had the prior night. Still, a very solid bottle of Cabernet.

June 6, 2014 - Typical Duckhorn Cab -- lots of currant and dark berry with heavy vanilla and cedar nose. Very nicely balanced now, but still lots of fruit left. Makes me regret only having one bottle. Ugh.

November 21, 2009 - Ruby red, clear. Nose of cedar, tobacco and lots of red fruits. Fantastically approachable. Light on the tannin. Red fruits on the palate.
