  January 20, 2013 - APPEARANCE: Dark red, purple, near opaque, no sediment, bright = 4/4
  BOUQUET: Berry fruit, blueberry, blackberry, wood, brown sugar = 11/14
  TASTE: Berry fruit, moderate body, spice, medium rich, balance good, med finish / length = 12/18
  PREFERENCE: not very Syrah like, more generic, mod body, decent balance = 2/4

  June 21, 2011 - Last bottle. Drinking better then I remember. Charecteristic consistent with previous notes with subtle oaky tones that support the palate and finish 5/5+11/15+16/20+7/10=89

  May 12, 2011 - Red Opel color. Currents and dark fruit with light spice on the nose. Tannic with heavy mouth feel. More heat would help balance this wine. Blackberries and sage on the palate. Short tannic finish. 5/5+11/15+15/20+6/10=87
