April 16, 2011 - Dark and dense with deliciously chewy tannins. Very nice Crozes, enjoyed by all.

March 5, 2011 - Not much fruit on the nose, sort of saline. Spicy on the palate with some acidity and some wood. Medium finish and a little bitter.

July 12, 2010 - Classic N Rhone Syrah. Medium to full bodied. Dark Crimson color. White pepper and prunes on the nose. Beautiful black fruit, pepper and some olives on the palate. This is big yet never heavy. Good acidity with solid, but perfectly chewable tannins in the background. It is amazing that this clocks in at just 12.5% alcohol. Medium plus finish and nice complexity here. This provides immediate enjoyment, but clearly has long ways to go as it was very fresh a perhaps a touch more enjoyable on night 2. 90-92
