April 5, 2015 - enjoyed with pulled pork.
    Starting to show some age.

July 29, 2014 - Ideal food pairing with home made tacos. The wine and the food were so well paired I would give the pairing a score of 100.
The wine was nice, with good fruit and sweet tobacco. The finish was actually decently long. It was pretty much ready on the pop and pour with no improvement over time. Drink up if you have it!
    Would buy again.

September 6, 2013 - Popped and poured. Nearly identical to the last couple of bottles I have consumed. I think it's about an ideal time in its aging curve. Nose of strawberries, oak and pipe tobacco. More strawberry as well as black and red licorice on the palate. Medium weight mouth feel. Bright acid pairs really well with food, though can be a bit over the top when having this as a cocktail wine (though who would). Finish was nice but short. Would purchase again.

February 3, 2013 - Popped and poured. This wine has hit a developmental plateau as the tasting notes are very similar to a couple of years ago. Nose of strawberries, oak and pipe tobacco. More strawberry and black licorice on the palate. The tannin structure has smoothed out some and the mouth feel is definitely softer than last time. Bright acid pairs really well with food. Finish was pleasing but short. Would purchase again.

February 3, 2012 - Unfortunately, my bottle had a bit of EA (ethyl acetate) smell to it so it rendered it undrinkable.

(Pomum Cellars Tinto Columbia Valley) Nose is fairly locked up at the moment, although it shows dark fruit, mineral notes, light chocolate, and floral aromas. The palate, on the other hand, packs a wallop. Dry, tart, and beautifully structured. Quite tight at present but shows promise. 72% Tempranillo (Snipes Canyon Ranch, Elerding), 16% Cabernet Sauvignon (Upland Estate), and 12% Merlot (DuBrul). Aged in once used French Oak barrels for 14 months. 14.3% alcohol. 197 cases produced.
