  November 9, 2020 - figured it was time to go out on a limb with one of these since the most recent note on here was 8 years ago. and wow, probably jumped the gun.
  
  it's everything that's good about spring mountain cab sauv. rich, earthy, lush, some lively spice, just completely enveloping. some smoke started to show up around the 2-hour mark, and it continued to develop depth and complexity for hours. decanted. no rush here.

  December 25, 2012 - Drinks like a top-notch Napa Cab: great length and balance, super fine silky tannins and a pencil lead note thru the mocha tinged red currant fruit. Nicely integrated oak too. Just perfect now and probably for a couple more years.

  November 24, 2012 - A whiff of green peppers crowded the nose - not necessarily bad, but seemed to hide the rest of the wine. Full and bright in the mouth with fruit, spice, oak and tannins - all in good balance, but again a slight green pepper and moist dirt taste. Escellent finish.
