Community Tasting Notes 1

September 22, 2009 - Pristing bottle, 1.5cm ullage, clean cork. Very clear ruby colour. Nose of forest notes, some truffles, took 15 min to open up. Served in too large a glass at first, wine evolved a little too fast; switched to an Hermitage glass to slow down progress. Fresh, red berry fruit, balanced acidity, but won't improve much. Drink up!
