January 17, 2022 - Decanted for over 30 minutes. Cork was very solid and I used a regular corkscrew as opposed to an ah-so opener last time. Minimal sediments with a medium prune-garnet in colour. Nose of bright red berries, blackberries, hints of spice and fruitcake. On the palate, there are some really good red fruits and red currants with touches of espresso and chewing tobacco. Medium bodied with a medium+ finish. This one has a good amount of life left to it. Unfortunately, my last bottle. Last tasted in 2018.

January 17, 2021 - Really really good. Tom Eddy winds are the best. And they’re built to last. This Wine still has lots of the tank

July 23, 2020 - Outstanding. Toms wines are built to cellar. I have had 20 year old wines from him and they stand up! This was great with lots in the tank.

March 21, 2020 - Clear opaque dark garnet core with slight brick tinge at the rim. Healthy nose with medium intensity aromas. Perhaps a little closed with more of mineral and floral hints coming through. Maybe some light cherry and plum hints. Dry and with significant tannin. Medium to full body mouth feel and healthy dose of acidity. Not a lot of fruit, again muted, but drawing air you can pick up earthy and dark fruit flavors. Maybe some jam, coffee, and fig. Good 20 second finish of coffee. This is a quality wine likely from a small to medium size producer. Could be muted due to travel shock and likely can go another 3-5 years.

January 14, 2019 - Got a scare, cork initially looked a bit compromised. But, pulled clean and did not show any leakage, Whew!!! Nice Fruit, good complexity with calm tannins. Really liked it, drinking well!! Enjoy!!
