  December 29, 2013 - SnP, served non-blind. Spritzig. Pale gold color, clear. Stony, pear, white floral, modestly fruited. Flavors largely follow the nose, this is subtle, gentle with artfully balanced sweetness. Fresh, nearly medium bodied, with a med(-) finish; clean, somewhat simple, but honest. 8% abv, drink thru 2017, recommended

  October 25, 2013 - SnP, served non-blind. A great showing, enjoyed on its own. Medium straw, a little spritizig. Citrus nose, with fresh acids, and a very clean, crisp almost zesty nature to it. On the lighter side of Spatlese, and best enjoyed cooler than warmer. I'm not sure what I was expecting with this, but whatever it was, this exceeded expectations. Missing some complexity, but the freshness and purity make up for it. recommended, 8,0% abv
