Paired excellently with enchilado de mariscos - king crab, jumbo prawns and steamer clams in a spicy, chile-infused, Cuban broth. -

April 14, 2005 - This wine is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Verdejo and Viura and was a very pale gold in color. I bought this on a whim looking for a good warm-weather wine. Also a wine that plays well with summer foods such a salads, vegetables and herbs. This wine delivered all of the above. It is almost reminiscent of a minty Mojito without the sweetness along with mild grapefruit and a stony minerality. It has a nice, fresh finish with good acidity. [$9; A great buy at this price and worth stocking up on for warm weather; 13% alcohol]
