November 1, 2018 - Colour: cherry, fading to brick
Nose: cherry, plum, mulberry. Raspberry. Cassis. Tinned tomato, Tabasco. Earthy. Sweet spice, old oak. Rich, but savoury.
Palate: plum, cherry, cassis. Raspberry. Tomato, Tabasco. Earthy, tobacco. Sweet spice, vanilla, old oak. Fresh berry-like acidity, structural drying tannins, chunky. Savoury, full bodied. Best with food. 14% alcohol.

October 12, 2016 - Pleasant Ribera with typical vanilla notes from american oak, nice raspberry bouquet. Overall good structure. Would drink it now

July 4, 2015 - Nose of anise, coriander seed, and raspberry. Palate is tough but light-bodied, with strong acidity over fine, astringent tannins. Intense flavours of black cherry and raspberry, with barrel time contributing notes of charred oak and vanilla.

December 28, 2013 - Tuesday on Saturday <$30 Double Blind (Bin 75): Dark core with ruby rim; tart red and purple berry, a hint of vanilla, floral, aspirin; rich and soft mouthfeel, velvety, good acid and fruit; drinking at a good place but still has a few years.

September 7, 2013 - I liked this but we drank it fast. Chocolate, cherry, vanilla, leather and coffee on the nose and palate. Some spice on the palate. Not deep or complex but very easy to drink. Smooth finish.
