January 9, 2022 - Remarkable that this bottle is still showing well. I would not wait another day, but this is classic burgundy with wonderful sense of terroir and balance.

December 2, 2018 - Still too young for my taste, acid predominantly. But complex taste. Keep more time.

April 28, 2018 - Great showing, acid driven, young, long. Delightful. No sign whatsoever of pre-ox.

September 1, 2016 - Wow, a beautiful Chassagne that is ready now. Gorgeous complexity on the finish and this great taste of gunflint that remains on the tongue and on my mind. Palate-staining but also elegant.

August 15, 2014 - Notwithstanding really excellent storage, I think the 2008's are evolving more quickly than I expected. This wine in the last year has moved from a white gold color to a more golden color, although not remotely deep. It seems to me almost on point - acid more subdued and beautifully pure Burgundian flavors to the fore - citrusey note with the white flower thing, and with all the fineness I expect from a Niellon wine. A beauty that I will be drinking up over the next three years or so.
