  November 23, 2013 - A great experience with scrambled eggs and fresh black truffles. On the nose, this mirrors the truffles beautifully along with roses, pipe tobacco, leather, and sweet black licorice. Medium body, fine melted tannins, quite elegant. Think it won´t keep so drink up!

  February 16, 2013 - Evening at La Verdura, Yokohama (La Verdura, Yokohama): 薄い。So pale it hadn't stained the cork (!). Watery colours, M rich nose of red berries. Per os it is mature, showing a rich, elegant taste on a superb tannic structure. Quite impressive but with a voice that is simply weak. Still has some years with an open drinking window. Won't buy again but enjoyed tonight. Went incredibly well with chef Kushida san's new tomato based compositions.
  Non-blind. Opened 2 hrs prior to enjoyment at La Verdura, Yokohama.
  Impression: approaching "very good".

  March 26, 2012 - Non-blind. Had immediately.
  Light red with shy nose. Full bodied, elegant, long style Nebbiolo that is coming around and still has some way to go before fully blooming.
