August 19, 2018 - Another bottle that I found while doing cellar inventory. I believe I bought this years ago, sometime around 2011 to 2013. No disgorgement date is given on the label. Right away, this is bright and fresh, clear with hints of tan, the palate showing citrus, hints of bergamot and vanilla and lime acidity. Very nice, clear, easy to drink. Later, with some air, nectarine fruit and citrus on a taut palate. Liked this a lot.

July 24, 2018 - Found this buried in the cellar. I probably bought this NV champagne in 2011 or 2012. I see below that I last opened a bottle four years ago. This is still a very nice Champagne but has now taken on some aged notes of nougat, some toast and yeast notes as well, along with just a hint of dry cherry, although it doesn't come across as old in any way, rather, it exudes a slight maturity, which is to be expected. Quite interesting and enjoyable.

It is dry but not bone-dry, with a generous dosage. It has a zesty acidity and medium body with a creamy mousse. It has pronounced intensity flavours and a very persistent finish.
It is an outstanding quality wine. It shows complexity provided by autolysis, the finish is lingering and the acidity is balanced by the dosage and the generous flavour concentration.
