December 15, 2015 - Prime of Life Dinner (Yan, National Gallery, Singapore): In an odd German Riesling magnum format, this bottle looked a bit like a baseball bat in its length and dimensions. The wine itself was a bit on the simple side, but it was otherwise pleasing enough. The nose showed telltale petroleum notes alongside sweeter aromas of apple flesh and then some lemon zest and a nice dose of chalky minerality. The palate came across very juicy and lemony at first, but then opened up into apples and a hint of white peach on the midpalate, with a little flesh peeking out from its bright acid frame. I found this to be very elegant and light on its feet; perhaps a touch simple, but good with food. It does need a more few years in the bottle though.

December 15, 2015 - Limey and Slatey. Sour plums and guavas.

October 14, 2013 - Petrol quite pronounced on the nose with some herbs, crystallized lemon and fresh peaches.
Dry and energetic on the medium bodied palate with tart lemon and peach, aromatic herbs and minerally textures as well and almondy richness towards the finish.
Popped and poured. Rather nice showing: airy and tart but serious. I expect this to be more focused tomorrow.

October 1, 2013 - Screw cap. Pop and Pour. Small smell of petro. Nose otherwise dominated by minerals. Lingering taste. The fruit is still there, but not so fresh as last bottle. This is mature now and can be enjoyed! More complex than last bottle. Wonderful companion to salmon. Drink now.
