February 3, 2019 - Good Wine with a Boring Super Bowl (Chez Kailin - Northbrook IL): Social walk-around tasting, brief note. Still wonderfully fresh with apple and pear along with lemon curd. Good weight, very good balance.

September 15, 2010 - ASG24's bottle, acting as a little pimp job to my only previous note on this wine, although i have a vague recollection of it not showing well at the massive OC aubert tasting in 2/07 either. regular viewers of the program will undoubtedly know i am a big aubert fan. many of my notes on this vintage were lost on ebob before my CT! posting days. certainly, an 87 score is low for me. well, not tonight. this bottle was on the mark with composed tropical fruit muted by the absorbed oak, almost silky smooth, long finish. i still think 04 is a better year for aubert than 02. provided in celebration of our anniversary as a special tribute to jane.
