Community Tasting Notes 3

February 2, 2016 - An $8 low-level past-its-prime Beauj means very low expectations which this wine managed to exceed. Brambly, blackberries and raspberries, saline/minerality. Light body, medium tingly tannin, crunchy, red-fruit acidity. Not complex and certainly past any prime it may have had, but quite drinkable.

January 28, 2007 - Recommended as a great value by the wine buyer at a local gourmet supermarket, this wine was disappointingly thin and a bit tart.

December 6, 2005 - 2003 Cru Beaujolais Tasting (Nick's San Francisco, CA): Black, dark fruit, light body, extremely tannic; finish drying and green. 12.5% alcohol.
