May 12, 2017 - Initially quite oerfumed with a rose/lavender thing going on then dark fruit and currant with hints of cedar, leather and underbrush. Black fruit, tobacco and leather flavors. The finish is on the short side.

May 10, 2016 - The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. The body is medium. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity. drinking perfect and well above its price point.

February 28, 2015 - 4th Saturday Brown Bagger (R&C's): Garnet color. Aromas of smoked game, tobacco, black fruit and plum, wit a nice herbal undertone. The fruit on the palate is more red than black, with a pleasant earthy/herbal tone in the background. Balanced; medium(-) finish. Pretty easy to pick out as Bordeaux.

This is drinking well right now, at peak IMO. My last bottle will be consumed within the coming year. This was opened and allowed to breathe in bottle about 50 minutes prior to being poured.

September 28, 2013 - Garnet color. Red fruit, herbs, maybe some mint and a bit vegetal. Nice balance; cherry and red currants flavors. Nice finish. Gessed CA Cab Sauv/Franc blend.

December 8, 2012 - Deep color. Aromas of red fruit and spice, though very green, even for me. Spicy red and dark fruit flavors on the palate. If I were drinking this blind, I would not have guessed it to be Bordeaux.
