November 23, 2020 - This bottle was a gift from friends, no prior experience with it. Paired with pot roast and roasted potatoes...PnP, drank over 90 minutes with Val and CC.
Medium ruby/purple color. Nose showing earth, aged red fruits and mineral. Palate of dried cherry, potpourri, mushroom. Medium weight and finish. Tannins starting to resolve.
Nice, ready to drink, lacked depth. Paired well with the beef, I think is best with food. Good value if the $26 price is correct... -
