September 29, 2020 - I was expecting a bit more complexity. I think the bottle I opened had reached its peak.

December 21, 2019 - Really nice and classic burgundy, velvet cherries and sous bois.

October 11, 2015 - Ripe but restrained red berries, some spice, earth, sense of mineral and umami. Long on the palate, lingering finish. So well balanced, the fruit and acid are in harmony. So easy drinking. Not particularly complex, but sometimes hedonism trumps intellectualism on a Saturday evening. Six bottles consumed in the last year, consistent notes. This bottle showed the best of the lot thus far

February 7, 2015 - Clear and translucent in the glass with minimal signs of bricking on the rim. Nice expressive bouquet with cherry and baking spice fills the glass. For the first 30mins or so the palate was really dominated by the bracing minerality and acidity, with the fruit somewhat dormant. After an hour or hints of bright cherry, sour raspberry and burgundian earth came to the fore which put things in balance. IMO this is fully resolved wine and should be drunk up soon. The fruit is fading a bit, and the angular acidity makes this a bit charmless.

March 19, 2014 - Lovely now with the cranberry earth and moss bouquet soaring form the glass with explosive Beaune nose and a long gorgeous finish.
