  December 25, 2020 - Dark and spicy. Solid and enjoyable but disappointing vs. a prior bottle a couple of years ago from the same lot that was far better so I don't think this is indicative of what this wine can be. Lacked a bit of precision.

  August 24, 2017 - Put on substantial depth with air time. Balanced mix of dark red fruit, dark soil tones, light gamey notes, and dark spices. Quite a surprise how well this performed out of the blocks but also how it improved in the glass. 95-96+

  December 13, 2012 - This also took a while to open out. When it did, it was impressive. Briary dark fruit, herbs, iron, and power. This would have likely continued to improve, but the bottle was gone too soon.
