December 26, 2019 - This is really beautiful right now. Much more fruit then I expected from a 2007 Volnay and lots of cherry, with great minerality, some tertiary notes of forest floor and mushroom. Was a superb pairing for Roast Turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

November 12, 2014 - A big voluptuous wine. Intense dried cherry core that lasts. Muted fruit nose - but I have a cold . . . This is just coming into its own & probably deserves more cellaring but very enjoyable now.

December 1, 2013 - Orange tinged ruby. Aromas etched with cherries and notes of wet forest floor. On the palate, tart, sharply delineated cherries, a touch of sappy sweetness and impressive minerals. Similar notes to the 2005 but not as enthusiastic- I suppose not a surprise given the qualitative differences between the vintages... but I like this and think that it is good for the vintage
