August 23, 2020 - Bright and fresh. Pear, guava, lychee. Balanced - no clawing sweetness here, though it does follow through to the finish. No signs of oxidation. Drinking well now - not sure if at peak or whether it can take more aging.

October 6, 2017 - Cork beginning to crumble, so be careful in extracting and break out the ah-so. Golden with a slight oily sheen, reminding me of a past Satuernes. The oiliness converts to a viscous mouthfeel. Heavy and a bit fat. Maybe the hot vintage is coming through here. Would like more acidity to balance and provide a bit more pizazz.

December 2, 2016 - Melon-y and exotic. Quite mineral, but lacked acidity.

November 27, 2016 - Riesling and Thai food (Sen Yai Sen Lek): Drank a small glass at a tasting. This is a surprisingly forward, round, fruity almost full-bodied Riesling. I would be inclined to guess California, except there is an acidity and flavor profile that is more consistent with Germany. The fruit steals the show here to the point that it becomes ovewhelming after drinking it for a while. This is my first experience with this producer, I found it to be somewhat different than other German Rieslings, and I'd like to try one from a less ripe vintage.

November 26, 2016 - Monthly Tasting Group: A Bevy Rieslings and Thai Food (Sen Yai Sen Lek, Mpls): Small pour. More ripe and tropical, big and viscous. Good minerality, green fruits. 90+pts.
