  May 1, 2017 - I'd agree that it's not terribly complex, but at $7, I'm not complaining. Light yellow color. Typical aromas of petrol, slate, lime, freshly cut grass, and mineral. Medium body, acid, and finish, with flavors of lemon, lime, and rocky, chalky minerality that lingers. There's a touch of residual sugar that works well with spicy foods, but it is not out of balance IMO. 12% alc. BTW.

It's got some residual sugar and not really enough acidity and I suspect it's more alcoholic than its German brethren. No complexity here. Just some lemon and maybe gasoline and the basic Riesling flavors.
