January 13, 2019 - This is my last bottle of this vintage and my notes for this bottle are identical to my last note. Utterly stunning!

December 16, 2018 - Lovely ruby colour, black and red berry fruit, a hint of pepper, violets, earthy, cedar and overall elegance. The palate has lots of blackberry, black cherry and some red cherry fruit too, wonderful softness and balance, lots of textured fruit, spice and pepper. About as good as wine can be, absolutely stunning.

October 1, 2016 - During a Shiraz tasting dinner with friends, wines served blind. Medium garnet. Expressive and typical nose of aged Barossa with red and dark fruit, torrefaction, tar. Very soft and gentle on the palate for a rich wine like this. The wine was very good initially but after 2h it started to fade, so drink up and better not decant.

January 1, 2015 - Appearance: Bright and clear, it has deep ruby color, with garnet rims and legs.
Nose: Clean, with medium (+) intensity aromas of red fruit of redcurrant, black fruit of blueberry and plum, pungent spice of black pepper and licorice, sweet spice of cloves, maturity notes of mushroom, oak notes of cedar and vanilla, kernel notes of dark chocolate. The wine is developing.
Palate: Dry with medium acidity, medium (+) tannin of ripe and integrated texture, the wine has medium alcohol but having a warming sensation, with full body and medium (+) intensity flavors of black fruit of plum and blackberry, oak notes of cedar, sweet spice of cloves, pungent spice of licorice. The wine has a medium finish.
Conclusion: Good quality Barossa Shiraz showing typical characters of the variety, with a fairly strong intensity on the nose, good complexity though the development characters were not apparent despite the age. On the palate the alcohol level is a bit too high, particularly given the ABV level is in fact of medium level. With good concentration showing a reasonable finish, the wine is ready to drink now and not intend for further ageing.

July 28, 2012 - Nothing much to add from pervious notes. Still drinking OK and still has some life left.
