March 27, 2013 - Easy, open, generous nose, with raspberry, plum and forest floor, with hints of smoke. Tastes like Angostura bitters. Quite bitter, acidic and tannic (it was a lot more enjoyable than that description makes it sound). Hints of grapefruit and bitter orange peel. Fruity, but bone-dry.

July 9, 2007 - A nice forward perfume of black cherries and brown earth, youthful but expressive. To taste, more cherries - young fruit, a bit one-dimensional at present but not tight or closed. It opened up quite well over 3 hours. Seems quite a modern, fruit-driven style. A bit low in acidity perhaps?
