  October 26, 2020 - What a pretty bottle of wine! Medium purple color, black cherry, floral and spice, lots of mouth-watering acidity along an extended finish.

  September 4, 2016 - Duller, beautiful crimson, duller rose rim, showing just a bit of age; rose petals, earth, brown sugar, lots of brown baking notes; sappier on the palate, blue and dark red fruit, layered, some candy to the fruit, still quite youthful; just a shade too New World in style for me but yummy; tasted blind I called '08 Ken Wright Carter Vineyard.

  July 7, 2015 - A little muted at first, but opened up nicely, light mouthfeel, red fruit on the palate with long smooth finish. Definitely on the more feminine and elegant side.

  October 11, 2014 - Recommended by Deborah at Bistro Maison with our duck confit and grilled salmon. Rich floral and red fruit nose, giving way to red fruit and spice on the palate. Intense, yet lighter bodied thsn most. Hauntingly beautiful.

  November 23, 2012 - Ruby red; nice nose of sweet cherry, strawberry, with underlying earthiness, hint of cinnamon and allspice; elegant body, red berry flavors but restrained faint echo of the spices on the nose, not fully developed I think; mid body very light,wishing for a little more heft; nice balance on the finish,but finishes fast
