March 4, 2023 - A bit of air helped this along. Though on the tail end of its shelf life, this was very good.

Plenty of acid and structure with fading fruit of plum compote, berry. Strong note of charcoal/soot/wood smoke, herbal elements as well. Plenty of alcohol.

November 3, 2019 - Very dark purple. Vegetal, slightly sweet nose. Acidity is lacking, flabby structure. Did not improve with air Waited too long?

December 31, 2013 - At its peak now.

May 14, 2013 - Strong nose when poured into the decanter. Definitely needs to breath for forty minutes to an hour for full enjoyment. After decanting it retains a great fruity nose, well balanced with a great long finish. Enjoy now or you could probably cellar for a year or two.

September 2, 2012 - Big alcohol nose when poured in decanter. Let breathe one hour. OPened up nicely, smooth, full body syrah fruit with vanilla weetness. Grippy tannins, alcohol aroma blown off, now just big dark vanilla fruit. Not the best syrah but very good, esp for $20
