  May 6, 2013 - Great wine. Started after opening as an over cooked wine. After 1 or 2 hours of decanting it became a balanced wine, with good acidity and resolved tannins. Red and black fruits, balsamic, mineral, very bold. Great pleasure and a few years of life ahead.

  Aroma: Dark berries, tobacco and an undentified herbal touch.
  Full bodied and good balance. Still a little closed palate.

  February 11, 2012 - A whiff of funk upon opening, which blew off quickly. Decanted five hours. This has been my Bordeaux house wine lately. This bottle was a little more tight and tannic than it's siblings. Menthol and underbrush on the nose. Subtle, somewhat closed palate. Tobacco and dirt. Not giving up much. This is good with garlic peppercorn rubbed filet mignon. It has many better years ahead. I am glad I have more.

  November 16, 2011 - Nao tao intenso nos aromas, frutas negras e vermelhas, leve tabaco e um pouco de balsamico no inicio. Na boca muito equilibrado, boa acidez, alcool arredondando o palato e boa estrutura tanica ja bem resolvida. Definitivamente maduro com ameixa bem presente. Meio de boca um pouco leve, mas um final prazeiroso. Belo vinho. Tem bons anos pela frente.
