September 21, 2016 - From a magnum. Rich pinot noir aromas with little oak disturbance. Clean and attractive in the mouth. It would probably have been more impressive with some oak, but I prefer this style.

February 12, 2016 - This is spectacular. What an amazing fragrance - incredibly fresh, slightly tart cherry and pomegranate fruit framed by floral notes, vivid stony and earthy elements, and a whiff of leathery funk not unlike what I've experienced in a few Truchots. The palate's very pretty though not quite on the level of the nose; lightweight with a bright acid spine giving the fruit lift, though there's some grainy tannin on the back and a sense of rusticity with each sip.

December 10, 2015 - Drinking very nicely. Was stored properly since purchased.

September 28, 2015 - Really pretty, lots of tart red berried fruit and gentle floral notes over a base of earth and chalky/stony mineral elements. It's very savoury, with the earth and mineral elements dominating the fruit, and the tannin here feels incredibly light - most of the structure seems to come from the acidity, and each sip invites another.

August 25, 2015 - Right from the start, this has a pretty, perfumed nose with some pleasant notes of earth and florals; The palate has some juicy red fruits consistent with the 2002 vintage mixed with some tertiary notes of smoke and earth; The finish is slightly clipped, with a touch of astringency; Not sure these will improve with more age, although this is a great value in its current state
