April 6, 2024 - Dark fruit driven with christmas spice and hint of oak. It possessed good power and weight. The wine was a bit bold and big for a RSV, lacking finesse. 90-91

April 15, 2023 - Opened an hour before serving, but not decanted (probably a mistake on my part). Charming to start with mature red cherry and berry and lots of baking spice, this kept getting bigger and even fresher with more time in glass. When first served, I noted I would have thought this older if served blind, but I felt it seemed younger and vibrant when finished at the end of the evening. Lots of upside.

December 30, 2022 - Given the notes here, I was reluctant to open this single bottle, thinking that it might need more age. But in fact, it could not have been better than it was with elegance and finesse to go with length and intensity. Cellared since original release.

July 8, 2022 - Light with Vosne character. Hard to tell it is RSV... NR

February 7, 2021 - A little shy nose on black fruits despite a long aeration.

In the mouth, the attack is acidulous at first, then the texture becomes silky and rich. It's ripe but with an underlying tension that gives a lot of energy to the whole. The whole is coherent, not yet 100% untied in my opinion. On the other hand, the finish is explosive, of rare intensity, that's really what struck me about this wine, with an explosive length so that the wine seems more impressive when drunk than on the palate.

    Excellent.
