November 25, 2012 - Decanted 12 hours prior to tasting. Beautiful creme de cacao sensation with licorice entering the party at mid palate. Steady underlay of feminine red fruit. Soft and sensual, I was totally seduced by this wine.

    February 1, 2012 - ---
    COLOR: Opaque garnet w/ruby-garnet rim
NOTE: Nose is grilled plum, amarena cherry, cherry tobacco and fresh leather. Mouth is sweet cherry tobacco, ripe tannins, cherries flambee, bit of heat. Continued theme into finish. Probably enjoyed this more at the winery and was an impulse buy.

    DECANT: 1 hr
    GLASS USED: Bordeaux
    TASTE: 9.1
    OTHER:
    COST: 48
    VALUE: 5.0
    PREVIOUSLY TASTED: 11/09 at 9.3-
    TRY AGAIN: now - 2016
