February 3, 2020 - Previous bottle last week was oxidized. This one was stunning. Oozes minerality straight from opening. Intense and concentrated on the nose. Lots of sea tones and an earthy minerality. After some time in decanter the citrus becomes more evident. Palate was dense and concentrated with typical saltiness and a lovely, long and acidic finish with some bitterness to it. The wine kept improving for over four hours in decanter, and at the end the citrusy fruit was both more pronounced and more precise. Great bottle of Chablis.
