June 16, 2019 - Opened and decanted (recommend decanting). Had some Brett at first (slight Dijon mustard and band-aid) that started to blow off after 15 minutes. Opens with cherry liquor, forest floor, and incense/spice (very CdV like). Darker color and richer Cherryish fruit (undeniably an excellent vintage). Fruit starting to drop off a bit; but still plenty. Very soft palate. This wine is in it’s drinkable window. Excellent; but don’t hesitate to drink now!

November 19, 2017 - My red WOTN. Smells great. Accents of spice, pine needle, slight fall leaves, mint. Darker fruit tones. Lots going on here and a pleasure to drink.

September 4, 2016 - Earth and forest floor.Leather and some spice. Drank with pizza-how decadent but who cares. bought it from a trip to Burgundy in the early 2000s and what memories!

December 12, 2014 - Wow wine. Great color, no signs of age. Deep nose of red tart berry. Palate of dark cherry and camphor that lingers for a long time, with soft tannins that stick to your teeth. This baby still drinking young in my view. Will be delicious for years.
