June 3, 2011 - A very interesting wine, especially on the nose which shows a gamey, almost bloody meat scent mixed with some spice and black tea notes. Very complex fruit and earth flavors on the palate which continued to evolve over the course of a couple hours. Medium length finish with quite a bit of sediment.
